Question: '78 E250 grill Interchange - will a '91 work ?
Hello fellow Ford Van addicts.
I have a '78 E250 Chateau wagon (window van). I've been searching locally and 250-mile radius on Pick-n-Pull, and just am not finding one.
I am seeing lots of the post-'78 with the rectangular healights. My '78 had the round headlights, and I think last year of the round, like the F-series pickups too.
It appears the turn signals are a part of the grill on the later models, thus I'd need to grab a lower grill cowl w/ no turn signal openings.
Can some of you on the know of interchange, what all I would have to do to change from the round headlights and grill to the rectangular healights and grill ?
What I don't know is if the radiator support structure got changed for '79 and the rectangular headlights, or if just the light holders changed ?
