That was not easy to read so…

the easiest way would be to swap out the whole rear end assembly yes the speed sensor will go in the 88 but there is no need to since it is the same rear axle if you only replace the carrier and reuse your ring gear you will have to measure the backlash before and after to make sure it is the same measurement because there can be a difference between the open and limited slip carriers

Install fresh clutches in it while not under your truck.

If you are able to swap a rear axle, you can install fresh clutches in an LSD carrier I would think.

FMS or whatever they go by now, has carbon fiber clutches for the 8.8" Traclok. Yukon sells them. Piles of places. No way I would pop it in with 30+ year old clutches. Also when the cover is off, at least pull the axles and do outer wheel seals.

I would recommend marking compound and check ring gear to pinion lash. Pretty easy.

This is an 8.8" like Mustangs had for years.

Maybe consider just a carrier swap if your axle is quiet.

Alright, I am going to say it....Please find an online course, or something of the sort, so you can learn about a wonderful thing that has recently happened to the English language called PUNCTUATION! If you are going to use the written word in a public forum, and you want others in the public forum to comprehend and reply to your query, PLEASE, for the love of grammar, use punctuation!

Yep. People are here to help each other. The fact that you are refusing to make your posts readable is rude. I got a maybe a quarter of the way in on your transmission thread and gave up. I’m not going to try to decipher what you are saying.
