Reduced Power Mode, Check Engine Light
Reduced Power Mode, Check Engine Light
2021 3.0L F150 with 66,000 miles, A few times over the last couple months it went into reduced power mode and check engine light came on for a handful of codes for: fuel pressure sensor, oil pressure sensor, camshaft position sensor, accelerator pedal position sensor, DPF filter clogged, air filter clogged. All of these codes came up all at once and after turning the truck off and back on they all went away. Another time it went into reduced power mode with some of the codes I listed and went away by itself while driving. Then it didn't come back for weeks, and I drove probably almost 2,000 miles with no issue as I drive a lot for work. Then last night the reduced power message came up with the check engine light and I shut the truck off like I had in the past but this time I couldn't start it. It just kept cranking but wouldn't start. I cleared the codes, disconnected the battery and reconnected it, cleaned out the connector for the fuel pressure at the fuel rail, opened the bleeder port on the fuel filter to see if there was air or water in it but it was good clean diesel, and nothing would work. Called a couple ford service centers and nobody has an idea as to what could be wrong and I can't get an appointment for a couple weeks. If anyone has any suggestions as to where to begin troubleshooting it would be greatly appreciated as I'm in a bit of a bind at the moment!
