I Found this small two sided gear in the passenger floor board of my 2018 f150 this evening. I thought it might be from a blend door? but from what I've seen on the internet blend door gears are white in color and enclosed in a case? anyone every find this gear in their truck? if so any idea where it might have come from? by the why, once I found this I DID try all my blend doors and they are working as per design at this time! any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!
It’s from the glovebox, if you don’t release the little rail it pulls apart and this falls out. Shouldn’t be a big to put back in, just drop the box and stick it back in.
