P0175 Code on a 5.4 Triton
recently my '04 Expedition decided to throw me a "Service Engine Soon" light, when I scanned for stored codes it only gave me a P0175 code indicating a rich condition on Bank 2.
So far I've only been able to find fixes for a rich condition on both banks (which could be something like a fauty MAF).
When looking at the Live Data I noticed that the STFT was pinged at -25%.
Ever since the code popped up I've also had an issue with occasional long cranking on startup.
Could it perhaps be a leaking fuel injector?
Are there any good ways of pinpointing the cause?
Most german mechanics are rather reluctant, and more or less unqualified to work on american vehicles so I want to try and fix the issue myself before having to take it to a local mechanic.
I'm very dependent on the Expy as a daily driver so I wanna get the problem fixed as soon as possible.
FWIW, the "rich" code does not mean the engine is running rich. It means the PCM has withdrawn as much fuel from that bank as its calibration allows but the O2 sensors are still reporting the exhaust mixture as too rich.
I've fired it up this morning and noted down the values from the Live Data:
STFT B1 3.1%
LTFT B1 15.6%
STFT B2 between -1.6 and 2.3%
LTFT B2 between -22.7 and -23.4%
Spark Adv between 1.5 and 21°(heavy fluctuation)
MAF ~9 g/s
O2S B1S1 0.130 to 0.850V
O2S B1S2 0.750V (steady)
O2S B2 S1 0.060 to 0.880V
O2S B2 S2 0.085 to 0.850V
This was on a cold start.
