Hey guys!
Im fully rebuilding a 1989 kingpin Dana 60 off of my F350 parts truck. I am going to be putting it on my 1994 F250 in place of the ttb. It was in rough shape, so just about everything needed replaced. I have purchased kingpins, seals, bearings, bushings. everything that can be replaced aside from the carrier, and pinion.
my question… I would rather not buy new brakes and hubs and manual locking hubs because the brakes are pretty new on my 94. I am on with buying new calipers if needed.
but, will the caliper arms, dust shields, rotors, hubs and locking hubs off of the 94 ttb all fit on my Dana 60?
I assume I’m using the right terms? I’m 18 I’m trying to learn about these things but I also want to keep it semi cheap… When I say hub I was talking the entire setup with wheel studs, and bearings and rotor. And then locking hub I have an all but new warn manual lockers that the previous owner put in 3 years ago. I would like to use those. I would also like to use the caliper arms off of the Dana 60 too if possible. But if I need to use them off of the ttb that’s fine. I haven’t torn my ttb apart yet so I don’t really know what I’m dealing with there. But the Dana 60 is totally stripped, sandblasted and partially rebuilt as we speak.
