Wierd problem with front drive
Hi everyone,
I have a '86 F250 4X4 with a NP435 and NP208. My four wheel drive works fine in reverse, but does not work at all in a forward gear. The hubs both lock in no problem. Any ideas? If I need to replace the transfer case, will a NP205 bolt right in, or would I need to change drive shaft lengths, cross members, etc.?
I just bought this truck recently because I was tired of getting stuck in snow, so you can imagine my frustration.
