SHIFTER LEVER
I'm redoing the interior of my 1967 F-250 CS and want to go to a steering wheel with less dish than the factory wheel which has a fair amount of dish. The C6 shift lever has the angles that match the stock wheel but will interfere with the new wheel with less dish so I want to take the lever off and re bend to match the new wheel. My question is: can I simply pop the spring pin out and pull out the lever or do I run into any problems putting the lever back in after I reshape the lever? thanks...Bob
