Question 2002 4.6l

I have a 4.6L in a 2002 F-150 with 2 spun bearings. The crankshaft looks shot. I have been shopping for a drop in motor, but mostly finding 4.6's in Crown Vic's. The places that I'm looking at say that the 2 are not interchangeable. Any suggestions?

They’re not directly interchangeable.

If you have a PI (Performance Improved) version of the 4.6, there’s still work to do. Basically, the blocks are the same, you just get the task of swapping F150 accessories, intake and whatnot over to the transplant engine.
