Just finished my install 4.6 LONG BLOCK
Just finished my install of my 4.6/auto into my 98 F 150, as you see from my other post,i installed a 4 core radiator also, i went from a Rom to Wind 4.6 due to sparkles in the oil and very low compression, as before in the old engine...she dumping fuel...bad so i will have to figure it out with the help of everyones old post and old skool training. For a junkyard engine she turns over and runs just dumping fuel so i have to shut it down til i get all tests completed.
Ill included some pics, BTW the guy in the pic couldn't wait to get the transmission so i stud back annd let him do what he needed to do...besides it help me out a bit too... hey if u have and any questions let me know and i see if i can help out.

dumping fuel???
Cleaned the engine and rechecked plugs... DIDN'T SEE THE WATER!!!!
HYDROLOCKED IT/ Bent 1 rod.
had to pull it back out and go thru the engine again.
CRAP!! but i added some upgrades and goodies.
plus i desided to manual swap ir
So i pulled it back out and started on the simi rebuild and added not only a new timing system but a Milings high flow pump.
I know the 5.4 is more power but im a truck driver and A class license and a lead foot don't mix.
Since i had the motor out, i desired
also to change to a 5 speed manual transmission since i really don't like automatics.
There more to come.
