Max tire size question

Truck would be a 2024 F350 CC SB with 4:30's and stock 18 inch wheels. What is the largest size AT or AS tire I can jump up to with no rubbing/steering issues?

At a certain point it’s going to rub regardless of the amount of lift. The backspacing of the stock wheels and the clearance they have on the sway bar & radius arms will come into contact.

that being said there’s a few tires that look good on stock height.

295/65r20s look good on stock height.

35x11.5 would definitely fit but I’m unsure of 35x12.5

some earlier reports indicated the 23+ actually have a little more radius arm clearance than 17-22 trucks but I haven’t tested that out yet myself

There is a '23 owner on here with 37x12.5's on stock wheels and no lift. He said it only has minor rub on the sway bar at close to full lock. If you can live with occasional slight rub, or have a way to address the sway bar, 37x12.5's would be the max. 35's should have zero rub anywhere.

First you ask what's the largest, then you say you are only interested in 35's...

You can put really big tires on with no rubbing so long as you don't turn the steering wheel.

Ok, so the real question is, on a stock 23/24 SD, will 35's on stock 18's fit with no rub....yes. That was true on previous years too, depending on the tire width. Now (23/24) there is even more room because of the new radius arm design.

35” 285/75/18 (THE TREMOR OE SIZE) will fit on those wheels and won’t rub.
34.5” 295/70/18 will fit on those wheels too and won’t rub, they will be a little wider but a little lower than the 285/75/18’s.

I like the wider look of the 295’s better.

Just the information I was looking for.

How wide are the F350 stock 18 inch wheels?

I think they are 8" wide. Another couple size options would be 305/70r18 and 325/65r18. 325 might be pushing it for rub being 13" wide though. I'm running 37x12.50r18 on stock 18's on my 23' with a very slight rub on sway bar. I think any size under 37x12.50 would clear everything on a 23'+.

Run a taller 295/70. I think that would be Yokohama or Cooper, few others probably worth mentioning.

About the height of a 35x12.50. Just program the truck to the stock 20 size, speedometer should be very close if not exactly on.

I’m running 35x12.5 ridge grapplers on 20x10 wheels with -19mm offset on my 23 with 6.7 standard output with NO suspension work done yet. Only have very minor rubbing on the passenger side plastic where a mud flap would be if I had them

35 x 12.5's are the cookie cutter tire on SD's. Everyone runs them cause it's been proven to work a million times for literally 20+ years. When you say "max tire", i think of trying to stuff a 37"+ under there.

I used a heat gun on that spot on my 2017 with offsets like that and it worked fine for around town.

Need to probably clearance it more for off road action.

Does anybody here know for certain what is the largest tire you can put on a '23 with 20" factory wheels? I'm anticipating picking up my KR later next month and I would like to have the new tires with me at trade. No lift and with absolutely no rubbing. Thank you in advance!
