Methanol injection install - planning and prep

So I have this AEM methanol injection kit for diesels that I bought a few years ago…planning on doming the install this weekend.

expected benefits

a. More power - varying depending on methonal % of the washer fluid. For example, deicer has more methonal than regular washer fluid.

b. Cleaning of exhuast system. Scr, dpf, all sensors.

c. Reduction of heat during max power.

I bought this particular kit becuase I didn’t want external map, or to use egt. Just want it to trigger off boost pressure. Simplest install.

boost trigger - will be from hot side charge pipe closest to intercooler. I needed a 1/16 npt barb fitting and don’t have it. So will order it and just screw the boost sense hose into the new collar.

mt first choose location for the boost collar will be here. Away from the valley heat . I like to try to use the hot side charge tube that way I don’t spray into the sense hose which is what will happen if I use one of the bots on the cold side.

I have 2 tanks. A 1 gallon and a five gallon. To start I will be using the 1 gallon. Pump and small tank will be mounted in Jack position. Jack has been Moved to my decked drawer .

That a 3 inch coupler? And is that included with the kit or bought separately?
