Yeah, saw Mishimoto and wondering if the kit had options to order a coupler with the kit... thanks.

diameter was fine.

i had to swap rubber boots to gain some tube length.

i put the longer boot that was by the intercooler at the turbo. Used the new one as the short one.

plenty of metal meat so i tightened the ends down. Waiting for some new t clamps to come in today so i can get rid of these worm drive clamps. The worm drive clamps skip threads if you tighten down too much.

Nice improvising there...

Man that's goofy fritz... that the clamps were too small... if you don't mind me asking, what the size listed on the clamps that comes with the SPE pipes?

maybe they shrank while in storage. I think I bought this 2 years ago.

the 4 clamps for the hot side were 74mm - 86mm. These were impossible to install.

i ordered 4

86-94MM) for 3 1/2 Inch

and they fit nicely. 2 are in. 2 will show up later today.

I got side tracked replacing some cheap mounting hardware for my cap pack with stainless steel.

the oem hardware kept breaking. The oem was 4 main thru bolts.

i converted this all to stainless steel and up’ed the thru bolts to 6 .

tomorrow i will do the electrical on the methonal kit.

For inquiring minds

i have the cap pack under the topper roof and it’s mainly recovery stuff. It gets hot as hell up there so what you put in there is limited.

the floor has the decked drawers and what is in there is seasonal.

across the back is a 60” wide by 18x 18 steel box. Hitches , adapters, fluids mainly in there.

the top of the decked drawers had some rubber floor Matt’s. The area still easily sleeps two with camping stuff along each side .

Since I have the tools, clamps, hoses…maybe I can reroute all the degas hoses away from the hot pusher pipes and the super hot egr pips.

I wouldn’t attemp this unless I had extra t fittings since I’m sure the day I have no extra fittings one will break.

certainly will be able to clear out my scrap 3/8’s hoses

Wow that pusher intake really cleans up that engine bay. Actually looks like an engine, not a dishwasher (sorry, the plastic kills me)

Are you in the NYC metro area? Just curious any concerns with knucklehead techs on annual inspections? Obviously we know your still OEM emissions compliant (actually isn't one of the benefits of chemical intercooling cleaner emissions?) but I know they can be chowderheads at times.

I'm really curious to hear the feedback after you get a chance to get this kit dialed in and driving. I don't think this is an avenue I'd ever take, but I'm interested about how it performs!
