i had to swap rubber boots to gain some tube length.
i put the longer boot that was by the intercooler at the turbo. Used the new one as the short one.
plenty of metal meat so i tightened the ends down. Waiting for some new t clamps to come in today so i can get rid of these worm drive clamps. The worm drive clamps skip threads if you tighten down too much.

Nice improvising there...
Man that's goofy fritz... that the clamps were too small... if you don't mind me asking, what the size listed on the clamps that comes with the SPE pipes?

maybe they shrank while in storage. I think I bought this 2 years ago.
the 4 clamps for the hot side were 74mm - 86mm. These were impossible to install.
i ordered 4
86-94MM) for 3 1/2 Inch
and they fit nicely. 2 are in. 2 will show up later today.
Wow that pusher intake really cleans up that engine bay. Actually looks like an engine, not a dishwasher (sorry, the plastic kills me)
Are you in the NYC metro area? Just curious any concerns with knucklehead techs on annual inspections? Obviously we know your still OEM emissions compliant (actually isn't one of the benefits of chemical intercooling cleaner emissions?) but I know they can be chowderheads at times.
I'm really curious to hear the feedback after you get a chance to get this kit dialed in and driving. I don't think this is an avenue I'd ever take, but I'm interested about how it performs!
