ARB twin blowing up tubing

I mounted an ARB twin in the tool box of my truck and run a plastic (nylon whatever it is) tube from it back to the air tank mounted above my spare. From there it goes to a regulator set at 90psi and then to a QC on the bumper. I know a number of people have installed the ARB twin on their SDs here. Do you experience the tube popping about an inch from the compressor connector? I assume it's from heat. Is there better quality tubing that might fix it?

You should not use the plastic/nylon line directly off the compressor, it generates a lot of heat. The kit should have come with a 12" braided steel line and several fittings to attach it to the compressor. I connected that steel line to a small manifold offered by ARB for their lockers, then the nylon line to my tank. That small manifold dissipates the heat before it gets to the nylon line. I use air tools regularly, and air up my tires and haven't had any issues since the install.

I didn't get the manifold because I don't have air lockers. I'll see what I can do.

No need to get the manifold, I used it because I had it from a previous build. You can get a 3' length of braided stainless airline and put a push-to-connect air line fitting for your nylon line on the end of it. The 3' length will be sufficient to dissipate the heat. Summit Racing is a good source for those lines.
