Where is this Fat D? We are in Dorrington, east of Arnold and I am doing early morn starts 4 am and more concerned with bears. I do carry, hopefully as a deterrent
I'm in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains on the Morgan Hill side. No bears here thankfully.

I'm sure they're related to some degree. Maybe kissin' cousins!

Same here! I took dumb and dumber on a hike yesterday evening and earned many a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
Tuesday is on its way out. We (My wife and I) have been very busy lately, processing all the garden stuff and the soft fruit that is coming ripe this time of year.
I had some shoes with leather bottom soles. I just did not like how slippery they were, and I wanted some more traction. The cobbler shop quoted too much $$$. So I found the least expensive piece of soling material on Amazon, and glued it on myself. It wasn't perfect. But it was the right price. The cobbler would have done a better job, for ten times what it cost me to do it myself at home. And Amazon had a coupon.
The truck engine fund is up to $405 right now. Still no word from the mechanic on a good useable engine though. Prices for these things are higher than expected, but I should be able to get it done with the 3k limit I put on the Go Fund Me page. Not sure where to post the link to bring in more donations. I am a member of a lot of groups on FB, but most are Mopar groups. Only one is a Veteran group, and I have not heard from the admin whether or not it would be okay to post there.
Eye of round. Basically, it's cow butt. It was good enough for the price. No fat to melt in your mouth. None of that quick sear at high heat like with a fine steak. You have to slow cook it.
