Hello all, first post.
I am shopping for a 2024 F350 Lariat. I have been to all the local dealers, and have spoken with a bunch of different sales people. Is there any reason why a few of the dealerships have told me the order banks for 2024 are not open yet? The 2 dealers also said that they don't expect the order banks to open until late October til December. Meanwhile the other dealers have called and said I could come in and order on July 17, like everyone on here. I am in New York and at this point I don't want a 2023 when the 24s should be here.by beginning of next year..
Thanks, Joe
Salesmen lie when they don't have a clue what they are talking about. They need to sound confident, but don't need to be accurate. Go back to those salesmen and educate them. Bonus points if you can make them feel stupid and question their choices in life.
Thanks for the replies.
I wasn't sure if different dealerships had different arrangements with Ford as to when they can order. I guess you can't blame them for trying to get rid of whatever is on the lot with scare tactics.
Chapman is offering 1% below invoice according to their website. I ordered a 350 Lairat on 7/21 from Granger at 2% below. I don't expect to see it until January.
