Sorry for the add picture, I do not own the truck or represent the company selling the truck. I'm simply desperate for help in trying to identify the seat that's in the truck. Do anyone know what it came out of or is this a custom order job?

If I had to guess, I'd say it's a custom covered Toyota pickup seat. (or similar) Many small truck seats had that little shifter notch in the center. Is there any details in the link that says 'for full pics/description click here'?

Why don't you just message the seller and ask him?

I believe it to be 80's-90's Toyota pickup. I was looking up Ranger seats, since I knew they were similar, and these Toyota seats popped up in a few pictures that looked even closer to what you're looking at than the Ranger seats, so I shared. I can't find the link now. It was in a Toyota forum, but the poster didn't identify his truck year. Other websites and pictures show similar seats as being 86-94. Good luck with your quest.

You may want to see what your local upholstery shop could do with your OEM seat. Here is a 55 that my buddy built...the seat is a stock 55 seat that has had some magic done with the bolsters to make it look custom.

CharlieLed, that 55 seat looks awesome. My 55 was missing the seat so I need to find one that fits.

The idea of a Ranger seat that looks like the Toyota seat may just be the thing I need. I like the fact that it is thinner than most newer seats.

The lady zPO had the seats covered in a nagahide type looking leather black has a Ford script in the middle on the seat back. Must have been a custom job I can't beleave how much upholstery shops are charging now. AJ

M2HB,
IF your fortune causes you to cross paths with a stock seat frame as CharlieLed said the possibilities are endless.

Arm rest installed.

Seat seat frame with bolster added.

Those all look awesome.

I have been looking for an original seat in the Phoenix area with no luck.

That is why I would consider a Ranger seat instead. Besides, if I could find a good one that did not need to be recovered, that may save some money.

I have not even got to the body work yet. I did finish the original running boards.

I had an '87 and a '92. Both seats looked just like that. The Motorola bag phone fit perfectly in that gap in the seat without interfering with the stick shift.

The link I think Wayne found it on: pickup seats - YotaTech Forums
