You may have seen in the other thread I'm also in need of at least one. I've created the image as a file now and ordered some permanent black vinyl that should be here by next Friday. I should be able to whip out a few of these by next weekend.
Absolutely. The vinyl is permanent - meaning it's not meant to be removed once installed. It's very thin material which is good because you wouldn't want a thick sticker in this case. So, it uses a white backing piece, and a front clear piece called the transfer tape. To use it first the white backing is peeled away from the letters and clear tape. That's important. Rather than peel the front clear tape and letters from the backing I turn it over and starting from the first large "C" I lift the white backing and use the tool if needed to help the letters start to come off of the backing. Once the first "C" is started then it should do the "Custom" the rest of the way. Then as you approach the "C" of "Cab do the same where the tool is used to assist the letters in staying with the clear front tape. I have an Xacto knife or something equally surgical to help ease the decal up off the backing. Don't touch the letters with your fingers in the process. It's not difficult just needs a moment of patience. Then it's ready to apply. I've cut it to where the lower edge shouldn't get in the way of the bend in the trim.
In this picture I've removed the backing and stuck it to the edge of some white paper - I'm polishing my trim right now so not ready to apply it yet -
Make sure to visually position it where you want it before you commit. Then rub it to make sure it's on there good and peel the front tape off.
I'll send you a Direct Message. I still need to go back and fix the second 'C' to be like the first before I call it ready for prime time but getting close.
