Color code on X
I went to a local paint store(Space Age in Mesa, AZ) to get some paint to match the X and the color code on the door says "SE" The clerk and my self could not find the color in the Ford directory of colors, She called and found out that my X was probably coded wrong.
(I am painting my X emblems the same color as the rest---sort of like the SS Implala emblems on the 94-97's)
My X is 2000 v10 4x4 xlt dark blue exterior and dark blue interior. I don't want to go to the dealer but I probably have to.
I also need to get the factory setting for the keyless entry. So I can program my own code. The guy I bought it from never used it and lost the card that had the info on it.

Check your paint code again. It is probably SP.
That is Medium Steel Blue.
The other blue for that year is Deep Wedgewood Blue. Paint code LL.
As for your door code. You'll have to visit your dealer to have him scan for the factory default. Some say it is marked somewhere but I have never been able to find it.

I am pretty sure my X is Wedgewood blue----it is very dark at night, and during the day depending on how the sun hits it, it can look blue/purple or real deep blue, or purplish.
I have not gone to dealer yet
