Are the drain holes on the bottom inside of the door clogged? Not that that would really hold that much water but it is a thought.
Wasn't there a thread about water leaking in to the side panel near the door? I think it was more getting on the floor of the truck but it's a thought. Check the rubber gasket that goes around the door. maybe there is a fold that is letting water in, shorts it out and when it dries everything is fine ?

i popped the switch panel out to see if anything was wet or disconnected and it was fine.
Thanks for letting me know. I'm a newbie here so looks like I'll have to wait until I reach the 10-day timeframe before I can send them a direct message.
It's a post count thing, not time, either 25 or 50, I don't recall which. Maybe a moderator can intervene and get the message sent.

So this is definitely a water leaking into the cab issue... today I parked it in the sun for about 8 hours and it was 90+ degrees. Magically everything works again. Wtf...

Well, then you need to check all the water tight harness connections, maybe add some dielectric grease.
Also, there should be a water shield between the door panel and the door frame.

GREAT NEWS ! Better this then expensive $$$ for some kind of crap electronics.
No sunroof right?
Make sure the tiny drain holes are cleared on the door for starters.
Search on the forum as I remember seeing this somewhere but it may have been after Sept 2020 (which is when I got my new F350)

No sunroof, but I have had the windshield replaced due to leaking on that side of the vehicle before so I'm thinking that it's related.
