Climate control acting funny
Dealership replaced the blower motor to only have it do the same exact thing.
Checked cabin filter and replaced with brand new same effect.
Blew out my condensation drain under the hood same thing.
Unplugged my under dash servo switch that directs the air to below or middle or defrost so it couldn't move, same thing.
Works great for like 10-25 mins then it seems to fall off a cliff and literally be on low or a dribble.
Apparently when you remote start the vehicle the "auto" setting on the AC is just goofy afterwards. They reported that power cycling the A/C after putting the key in and turning to run would fix the issue. I have pretty much only been remote starting my truck since I love this feature.
Anyway, I remote started my truck ran out and put the key in... low air flow nothing much happening from auto as usual, then I power cycled the A/C and the auto started pushing a lot of air and acting as I would expect... IE as i turned the temp higher, the fans decreased etc.. I didn't go for a drive but I will report back again after I have tried this process a few more times but I think that was the fix for my issue... a power cycle after inserting the key after remote start...
I have zero idea why this would happen and the folks who reported this on facebook didn't either; apparently it's just a bug in the system.
