On my 1992 Explorer EB, I am trying to find the RABS diagnostic connector. I see the orange/black wire under the dash on the l/s but is it supposed to be plugged into something? It looks like it is disconnected and may be the cause of my ABS light staying on all the time. Does anyone know if this is the right connector to read the codes? I tried grounding this wire but nothing happened. Is there a cap that goes in the end to plug off this wire? Please HELP!
Thanks marragtop but that is another thread I started and still couldn't figure out the problem. I have narrowed the problem down now to the module or the main ECM. I am not getting any reading out of the module. The module is the gold box in the center of the dash and does make the light go out when I unplug it, but it doesn't fix the RABS problem. I have done the flowchart test now and it all points to a bad ECM. Never would have guessed that to be the source but I will probably be changing that soon. Thanks for reading my thread!
