The picture above was a guess if what it might be, some unidentified color on a Raptor R, not necessarily the actual new SD color
Huh? Look up a couple of posts (#11), that is the color sample for the 2024 Super Duty. That is the color, not a guess, but it might look very different when it is seen on the 24SD.
If anything the color sample wont look like the real thing much like the sample for Magma Red doesn't look anything like the actual color. The darker the color, the more surface area is needed to see the actual hue. Hopefully its darker and not putty like as some of the colors out there are.
I agree with the others saying it is also being used on the new Ranger Raptor. See a few pics in this article: U.S. Market 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor With Brown Paint: Photos (fordauthority.com)
Bronze metallic is usually a brass/gold fleck, so the very dark brown color with gold fleck reflections seems like a good match.

ford is now calling that color on the 24’ raptors “mission green” I believe , so I guess it won’t be that color

True! Based on color swatch vs. reality, a 2-tone Anti-Matter blue over darkened bronze, will really be a black over black 2-tone!!
I've been hunting spy shots or anything other than a paint chip to get a feel for this color. I suspect the 2024 build & price might be going live next week because I found a dealer that has a single stock image of what appears to be a 2024 Platinum in Darkened Bronze Metallic.

'24 build and price should be going live soon, typically close to when production start up is. Whenever that will be this year. That rendering is lighter than I expected, or expect it to look. Based on the color sample, it looked like it could be darker, almost like the Antimatter blue, where it often looks nearly black.
Interesting, magma red was a good looking color. I believe it replaced bronze fire and was only available on the SD for 18-19. I don’t see too many of them either, there is only one I know locally and I know the guy that has it!
If the new color is along these lines it should be a nice option.
Still kicking myself in the *** for trading my Magma/Marsala platinum f250. Had every pertinent option as well. Had an opportunity to buy it back but they ragged it out and was 4 states away.

If I didn't need a Super Duty, I would still have my 2018 F-150. Loved that truck but just couldnt afford to keep it and also have a decent 17+ SD. One freaking day, ONE, after I bought the one I have now, an F-450 Platinum Magma Red with Marsala showed up!!!!! I was PO'd!

If you are right, it will make a really horrible 2-tone color on the King Ranch.
Black lower trim is about the only thing you could do with that
What I mean is, if I read the Order Guide correctly, for 2024, Stone Gray has been eliminated, and the Darkened Bronze will be the color on the bottom of the King Ranch. So anything dark won't go well with Antimatter Blue or Black.
