Please help finding post for bedliner on side steps
Help would be appreciated. I have horrible luck trying to use the search feature.
I have the flat "chrome" extended step and and not sure how to get the black treads off. Ford dealer couldn't tell me. Stopped at a body shop and they didn't know either.

Are they damaged or are you just trying to remove the black plastic for looks? I'm pretty sure they aren't meant to come apart. I had the extended steps on my last truck and they look the same as the chrome steps I have on this one just with the extended black plastic part.
