Is Carlisle a good place to pick up used truck parts or is it better online?

 

I used to sell old parts there in the early 2000's. Back then there were a lot of big rigs and Rice Burners. But there were parts. The big vendors would show up: Dennis Carpenter, Mid West Early Ford and others.

 

yea that's how it was back then. Dennis carpenter hasn't been there in years though. It was convenient to purchase at the show, no tax, No shipping, and you could view the part you were buying. They used to put up a big spread back in the day
