I sprung for a aluminum radiator
It is 16psi , I think my current one is 13psi . Will this cause any problems to my cooling system ???
Did not think it about this until after I bought the radiator......... Anyway help please.........
Oh & I guess I need to separate the steel from the aluminum , galvanic corrosion
I am worried about the heater core for one thing............I guess I could use a 13psi cap......... Duh...........ha
Don't forget to ground your new radiator! Connect a dedicated wire to the battery if possible. It will eliminate the elec charge built up with the flow of coolant through the radiator and heater core, thus importantly increasing the lifespan of the heater core and radiator.
