I got a 1959 f-100. My wiring isn’t working the way it should. All my light switch does is turn on parking lights. My low beams do not work unless I turn my high beam switch on and then both highs and lows turn on. And when I put my turn signal to left or right both blinkers turn on and do not flash. They are a solid light. I have replaced the flasher. Any help would be much appreciated!
Welcome to FTE. What condition is your truck? Have you been driving it or has it been sitting? Here's a wiring diagram for it. You will need to go thru your wiring one wire at a time in the problem areas. Older vehicles often have corrosion on the grounds around the lites and other places so they need to be verified. Have fun!

Thankyou! It’s in pretty good shape. You can just tell that a lot of different folks have been under that dash and had lots of different ideas on how to wire it… so I’ll see how well it matches up to the diagram you provided. Thankyou for your help!

thanks for that diagram. I’m a ways off from needing it, but I appreciate it. We can now return to the regularly scheduled programming….
Check your dimmer switch, they fail and cause odd issues, or it could be wired wrong.
In my experience--when turn signal indicators in the cluster simply turn on and stay on, it's generally a bad ground or a short in the wire. I'd check for a good ground at the bulb sockets for corrosion. Once you can be sure of good bulbs and clean solid grounds, then try checking for a short. This may include taking the steering wheel off and checking the mechanism where the wires connect.
It never hurts to have 17 different flasher units to check either......And I'm not joking.
