For those that have the taped variety, what do you do w/ the inevitable dirt/grime that gets between the shield and the hood? I assume it’s easier to clean the ones that install w/ the gap, and easier to remove as well if needed?
It’s a non-issue on mine, because the deflector sits tight.
Hard to tell from the photo but kshoop's Aeroskin looks to be like mine, which is kind of a crinkle finish matte black. Haven't shopped in a while but AVS also made the smooth smoke color if you wanted something more suitable for graphics.
It is crinkled, matches the rest of the black trim on the truck perfectly.
My taped on Aeroskin works surprisingly well keeping bugs off the windshield, and I agree with Poncho, it ain't going anywhere! To each his own, but I really like the look of mine better than the ones that are gapped above the hood.
do they make this one in the gloss black?
I think the deflector looks nice but don’t prefer the flat black
o have a black 23 truck that I think it would look good on in gloss
I have used a bolt on for 4 trucks since 2008. All were an incredible improvement in reduction of bugs on windshield, AND improved visibility in driving rain. No problems at all. Most chrome, one gloss black like truck. I think it was the 15 that I had not yet put the deflector on - too new no accessories yet- that I found out about the rain. Before and after were Incredible improvement.
Still on the fence about the glue on but I have a Ford gloss one in the garage waiting for action by me….
