Hey everyone! I’ve been lurking around here digging up random info while working through issues on the truck. Earlier in the year I picked up this ‘01 F250 V10 as a theft recovery from a small local lot, but it was a Washington truck until now. Overall, it was far cleaner than anything in the rust belt without the rust free sticker price. It needed a decent amount of work, including most of the standard issues and so much more.
It has about 147,000 miles on it, lariat trim, and factory 4.30 gears. I think I have worked on every part of this truck while driving it to see what other problems cropped up. I’ve done some cosmetic modifications but largely focused on mechanical issues to make it reliable again.
