I guess that’s good in a way!
It’s better than problems for sure.

Still waiting for a great 7.3 gas oil debate thread to see which I will run. First N/A engine in 8 years and didn’t tow before then and never asked what Ford put in there.
Conventional oil is harder to come by in a lot of places. That is like saying what does every engine that failed in the 90s have in common? They were all most likely running conventional oil. Correlation doesn't equal causation.

I am no expert and am not arguing with you.

I’m just saying that a guy that says he has 22 years experience is giving his opinion. He even said we will know in the future.

C's earn degrees, or a tech cert. Even the dullest tools in the shed can work 22 years.

Thats not nice. Weren’t you just discussing how your son is Ford Tech? But since he works mainly on diesels then they are the problem. Everyone is too sensitive about their engine choice. JMO as a non-tech that didn’t get no C’s.

So a couple of 7.3 first hand experiences of a couple of bad plug wires and a couple of leaking front main seals.

And a bunch of B.S about a couple of Tech’s personal opinions regurgitated from another thread about their oil preferences.

Only issue I have with mine is what sounds like a squeaky pulley on startup, but goes away after a minute.

Gazzilla - For the record, I'm not the 22 year ford tech. That's a different guy who chimed in on that thread. Cajun something...I don't blame him for walking away. He was trying to be helpful with his experience and well you saw what happened.

You best have thick skin and be ready to stand by your convictions. It's a tough crowd here.

You right! Here this morning drinking coffee, will be here tomorrow. could care less what a few keyboard cowboys think lol. It is a shame though, this forum has become much less productive than it used to be, even the OP on the last thread walked away lol.

Yeah CLJDieseltech, I clearly remembered that you are NOT the “22 year Tech” that was Cajunbubba1. That others here are confused about.

Here’s his first post from the other thread.

The issues with the 7.3L is something to watch, we're seeing more and more issues it seems.
Here’s a link to that other whole big can or worms thread…

These 7.3 failure threads are starting to sound like an REO speedwagon song. Heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from another who had a 7.3 failure and ran synthetic oil.
