While starting this thread, it occurred to me to ask about a whole different issue: Occasionally, the speedometer decides it is only going to show 0MPH. While this is happening, it doesn't accumulate mileage on the odometer and the trip odometer, and the overdrive light flashes. Usually, if it goes out, it is out from the start, but sometimes it goes out while driving if I have gotten the cabin really cold. It has never done this while the cabin is hot, either from excessive heater or from being cooked in summertime while parked etc.
It has had the speed sensor replaced. It was doing this before and after replacement. It occurs much more often the colder it gets in the cabin, and cycling the ignition off then back on usually fixes it. I've found online several cases of this but they come with no solid resolutions.
Has anyone here experienced this?
Thoughts on how to resolve it?
Thanks in advance!

Reason: Corrected text color
Sorry, fixed it earlier. Hopefully it shows up now. I don't know why the page randomly decides to default to a static text color and not just stay on [automatic]. I use dark mode, and when I put op white-ish text it looks fine to me and the other dark-moders, but original-moders just see white text on white background. I've found that when the text color is left to [automatic], this isn't an issue, but sometimes it randomly switches to a static color on its own.
