I am looking to order a Lariat Tremor with some specific specs but am realizing all these dealerships around me are slippery. Noone replys to me and when I do get one on the hook, they won't honor my xplan pricing ...for a Lariat! not a platinum or limited, a Lariat!
Can anyone suggest a good dealership, nationally, or better, in the Houston TX area that can take my order and honor my xplan pricing?
There have been good reviews on the forums for Granger Ford in Iowa. For 2022MY they were pricing orders at 2% under invoice, that beats your X plan. 2023 pricing wasn't as aggressive, but recently they posted that discount on 2024MY orders might be closer to 2022 pricing.
I bought (ordered) a 2022 F250 (+/- 15 weeks) and a 2022 Bronco (+/- 52 weeks) through SW Ford in Weatherford, TX. Paid MSRP for each and was allowed to use X-plan and a coupon on the SD. It's not Houston but closer than Iowa. If you call them, talk to Kevin Barbour -- he's a stand-up guy.
I vote for Granger in Iowa. I'm in ATL, and none of the dealers around me would be forthcoming on pricing. I ordered my 2022 Lariat from Granger, it was super easy and no BS. They gave me a price at 2% below invoice in February, I paid a deposit, and when I picked it up in Sept, it was the exact price. They picked us up at the airport, had the truck ready, went over the features etc, and then 5 minutes in the business office to pay for it and we were headed back to GA before lunch time.
They were super nice, and easy to work with, good communication. Honestly it was a nice drive back, Iowa with all the farms was really pretty.
If I was buying another truck I'd travel up there again, between travel, hotel, and gas, it was less than $1000 of expenses, and they beat my local dealer by over $7k, and they are treating people right, and I'd rather do business with people like that.
A bunch of guys bought from Granger at the peak of dealerships jacking-up prices, nobody reported any nonsense when they showed up to make the purchase.
