Angry ECU/ECM Injector driver issue

1995 F 350 1 ton dualy crew cab, 7.5L EFI stock- 115,750 miles .

I seem ot have made a mistake to begin with by going to Ebay to secure an outfit to do the work on the ECM which, is the one major complaint.

See attached before replying/commenting.

Since this is now round 3 with these ******s, and its the same thing over and over, injector driver failure, where exactly are the injector drivers on the 7.5l EFI PCM/ECU/ECM board at and, just how much of a problem is it to have them replaced by someone who knows what the hell they are doing?
To say I'm unhappy is an understatatement.

The outift in question is named, SIA Electronics out of Tilden Illinois and I would strongly encourage anyone who is thinking about doing business with them to NOT do so.
It's an after thought kind of thing but I got to looking at the BBB complaints ( numerous!!!) and the Google reviews, ( 290 plus negative slaps to them) and Yelp and many others.
This outfit doesn't do the work they say they can or will and they are foot dragging ( being polite here) on doing the actual repair work as per techs findings and the report.

So the bottom line is, where are the injector drivers and just how damn hard canit be to repalce them?

Tech report page one

Page two, update after "repair" same issue.

If the spout is still in the ash tray it needs to be reinstalled. The computer takes over the commands when the spout is plugged back in and timing is adjusted to what the computer needs. When the spout is removed the computer is out of the process and that's when you set the 10 * BTDC. Once done plug the spout back in as noted above. Basically if the spout is out the computer is too.

NEgative

Your not understanding the issue.
SIA Electronics did NOT do their part and the injector drivers have failed .

Where are they on the board and how hard is i to have those or that item replaced?

Did you just happen to read the full report and the techs remarks you'll plainly see the issue involving the injector drivers.

The SPOUT has ZERO to do with this issue.

I agree IF the spout is back where it belongs in the truck and not in the ash tray. This is the first time I have heard of only one batch of the injectors not firing and the computer causing the problem. Since the Tech made it fire like he said then I would agree the computer needs to be fixed or replaced. It sounds like you have no confidence in your Ebay repair folks, you would need to find a new vendor and It would probably cost almost as much or more than a new computer. If you buy a new computer from a big box store, they give you a one year warranty which consist of replacing the entire unit and it is usually done within a day or so. Therefore no shipping or waiting on an out of state repair company. I agree with your Technician about replacing the computer and I have no further info or ideas for you. .

As you report an issue with a fault with the injector drivers, and a subsequent same issue with repaired unit,, have you considered an issue with the truck wiring which if not repaired will continue to damage any replacement ECU..

Truck wiring is 100% complete and NO fault within that at all.

It is the INJECTOR driver(s).

which once again, where are they at on the board and how hard are they to replace?

If you were the ECU repir person, it can't be tat hard to find or test when you';ve got it in your hands is it?

AGAIN, thespout has ZERO to do with the injector driver issue.

AGAIN the same question

Where are the injector drivers on the board and how difficult is it to replace them???

If you , were the repair tech on the ECM, how hard is it to test them and how lazy does a person need to be to willfully not test the entire unit before shipping?????

Did you, by some slim chance, read the full report where the tech specifically said it is the injector drivers?

Yes I have, and many times I have seen defective harnesses cause a reoccurrence when a replacement ECU was installed..

Have you done your due diligence and confirmed the harness ? I presume that as you cannot identify the Injector MOSFETs you may not know how to detect any external faults, and it is easier to fault the Tech..

Find a competent diagnostician and resolve your issue..

I suspect you have a ground issue, do you have access to a good DVOM and/or a scope.. Conduct a voltage drop test ..

Circled in pink are the drivers for injectors and E4OD shift solenoids.
Never actually heard of anyone fixing/replacing the drivers

Background information for you to quell that sense of curiousness.

112,700 miles estimated( numbers do't matter now). This has been something of a project for roughly, 10 years off and on.
The rough idle , has been a source of a problem for as long as I've had it. Not plated nor titled , yet. It's listed under a salvage title at present and that will change when it is running with all the injectors firing and inspected.
There is one other thread with my name attahced that lines out everything I've done to it thus far .
What has been done recently while standing around waiting on SIA electronics to NOT do their end is, I RE-wired, the entire injector wiring harness, color for color, 18 gauge automotive grade, and went strictly according to the FORD OEM Electrical Diagrams and Schematics manaul ( Thaks FORD!) .
That took two full days with at least 10 hour days on each one. I took my time, double checked, triple checked before applying heat shrink, solder and doing ONE circuit at a time.
ALL junctions were tied in as per the book. 100 percent. I made absolutley certain each of the two banks of injecters were tied directly to the wires leading to the PCM/ECU/ECM/EEC were the correct ones as I already had the plug out of the ECU and everything detached on that side ( left) of the engine bay to include, having the disrribution box up and out and the multi pin connector that serves the ECU from the top end of the engine. There were three separate wires that required repair/splicing due to rodent damage.
I would know where to find the injector MOSFETS if you or someone would take the time to point them out?
At no time have I laid any , I repeat, ANY, fault at al on the tech doing the work. I have however laid it directly on the feet of SIA electronics for NOT testing the damn thing befoe it left only to finf the one side of the injectors is working.

The one thing this is all about is, on the PCM board, mind telling me where they are?

That, is the whole entire point of this post. Where is that driver at on the PCM board?
I can do the dam soldering on it myself just as I have on mutiple other electronic projects to include rebuilding and restorinng this trucks PSOM as well as, Zenith Trans Oceanic radios so theres that bit .

All I aksed for was one thing. Just one.
