I'm from Colombia, around here are plenty of F series trucks (all of pre 86 are from USA or Canada, not Venezuela market specs). Some dude from another city says he have an 1982 F250 flareside, all original from Canada (I don´t believe in that, every F250 from that era was long wheel base and LWB flaresides dissappear in 'bumpsides´era.
Front suspension looks original (leaf springs at front) rear axle also looks original with all the factory hardware... My question is... does that even existed in Canadian market? I've looked every sales brochure from USA and Canada and there's nothing such a flareside edition for an F250 chasis
PS. the owner of the truck doesn´t want to show me the door tag, I'm very suspicious that the truck was a regular LWB F250 and in some point someone cut the chasis to fit a flareside bed. Rear Dana 60 Front TTB with factory leaf springs
What you are saying is how I know it also.
No F250 flare side as they were all LWB trucks.
Now there was a post of either a 250 or 350 truck short bed truck and as we know that could not be as they are LWB trucks.
The person shorten the frame to fit the bed.
If you can get under that 250 flare side to look at the frame you should be able to see if it was shorten and welded back together.
There is no way I would butt weld the frame and grind the welds smooth and not have it fail down the road.
Can you see the VIN in the windshield that should also tell you 250 or not but still need to look at the frame.

GM did make a LWB stepside 3/4 ton in the 70s, we had one for a service truck at a Case tractor dealership i worked at in the 80s, It was an old HWY Dept truck. I have been looking for a LWB flareside bed for my 79 f250.

I think there will be a partial VIN on the frame itself. I'm not sure where it's stamped but someone here will tell you where to look.
It's located on top of the frame on the passenger side, between the front pass wheel and the front cab mount on the pass side. Very hard to see since it was stamped by hand.
