Front bumper upgrade

Hello all,

Does the diesel or front bumper with the center cutouts fit on an 1994 f150?

looking to upgrade my no cutout bumper to the newer style with the center cutouts.

Yes, I plan on doing that myself, but I will probably cut the extra hole in mine and just install the trim piece.

The diesel engines have a center cut out in the bumper to aid in cooling. The smaller engines [mine is a 5.8L] does not. Cut the hole. Then purchase the trim to cover the edges.

I was just planning on buying the bumper with the cutouts already there.

wondering if you can just swap out the bumper on a noncutout one to a cutout one.

i’m assuming all the mounting brackets are the same.

That bumper is common on the late half ton gasser trucks I have seen. Maybe late 93 and forward.

The cut out style fit just fine on a gasser, no mods. This is my bud & chapter mate's:

Have you considered one of the late model Super Duty bumper options? The 08-10 bumper is pretty clean. A friend put a 21+ I think Super Duty bumper on an F250 he had. That bumper, I do not think would look good on a 2wd half ton pickup, too tall.
