Clunking sound

Clunking sound
I have a '78 F-150 and I recently started noticing a clunking sound when I pull into my driveway and hit that little transition from the street to my driveway. I hear it the most when I am backing up into my driveway---and when I get to the front tires---CLUNK! What is going on? I have new coil springs and shocks in the front. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Well get under there and look and feel for something loose, broke or disconnected. Have a person stand next to the truck, as you back in and try to pin point the sound as you reproduce the conditions. Dvrs side, passenger side, rear end, front end...
Have you got on the front bumper and did a bounce test? Did you use the shock absorber rubber bushing stack and washers correctly?
