Bought ANOTHER Bronco! It has issues.
First of all the 4x4 is NOT working. This truck is equipped with Electronic push button 4x4. It also has the automatic hubs. The guy I bought it from says he has never used the 4x4 in the last 5 years.
When I push the button to engage the 4x4 NOTHING happens. No clicking no lights truning on, NOTHING. I'm going to have time to work on the truck this weekend. I have NO experience with Electronic 4x4 systems. SO I would appreciate it if you guys could tell me what to check.
Next. The truck just had an engine rebuild about 2 years ago, the tranny was also rebuilt at the same time. The problem is the truck has a very slow idle. It idles at 600 R.p.m. in park, it idles at 500 R.p.m. in gear. Incase it matters the truck passed emmission testing like a NEW vehicle. I was just wondering what you guys think the problem might be.
Thanks in advance for the help on both questions.

Are you sure its not a chevy? Just kidding...couldn't resist that one.
On my 97 F250, the auto hubs kept trying to engage themselves on their own putting a whole new meaning to "automatic," so I converted it to manual hubs with the warn hubs (premium) using the warn kit. I have the electric switch in the F250 and my 90 Bronco but haven't actually had problem with that part, just the hubs. The electric stuff can be great when it works but sucks when it doesn't. In all likelyhood its in the electrical/motor system:
