It was right at $3k, free shipping. They make an 18k version I think which would have been suitable but it was only $400 less and had 2 bags compared to 3. It was about $700 more than what I was originally going to do and I think it's going to perform great based on videos I've watched. Having a 450 I wanted to isolate the road impacts as much as I could from the trailer itself. And roads are like bomb ranges around here and down south.
Picked up the new 5th wheel today. Hitch was excellent! I never felt the trailer when hitting bumps, only my truck suspension.
how do you like the 37FLL? That was the model I almost purchased. Went another route with a front bunkhouse instead. But man that front living room is nice on the Sabre!

I think it's going to be perfect for us. We really wanted a separate living area from the kitchen and we also need room for the kiddos to sleep. We've been contemplating this model for over a year and finally pulled the trigger.
I think for what that cost, and weighs, I would be better off with a Gen Y goose ball pin box. Even with the F-450, that is a heavy 5th wheel. I have issues with my Curt with it bucking and clunking on stops and starts. Other than that, I don't really feel the trailer back there. Thats a LOT of hitch!
The Gen Y looks nice but I read several places that frame manufacturers won't warranty the frame using that hitch. I think the Reese Goosebox is a better option and I was dead set on that until I saw this hitch. My concern with the goosebox was the radius that it moved while turning and it had to be clear.
