Cost effictive

I bought a 2013 SD with factory puck system installed and i don't need it can i replace just the bed floor or do i need to replace the whole bed witch is cheaper?

Why would you go to the trouble to change it over? Does the puck system inhibit how you use the truck bed?

Thank you for responding WE3ZS. yes it does the pucks are above the floor and hauling pallets is a pain.

Thanks to those who responded i have no intention of running a 5th wheel or a goose neck I have a 7X20 equipment trailer for all my halling needs. So witch is cheaper replace the floor or bed?

Lift the bed, remove 5th wheel/goosenck prep. Set bed back on and bolt it down…….yes, you will have holes in the floor of the bed but zero cost other than your time. If the holes are an issue, buy a drop in bed liner. Or just buy a drop in bed liner and cover the pucks.
