I am getting ready to install my sync 3 stuff today and I have a few questions.
-Are there specific forscan changes that apply to my truck since it didn't have sync at all?
-can i buy the newer usb module and use it enough to update to 3.4 and make it work properly? Or do I need to start with the older one, then update, then swap in the newer one?
-can I swap the hvac controls between bezels? If not, will the rear window defrost button work on my mirror defrost? I do not have a rear window defroster.
-anyone know he part number for the mic and mounting trim? Also, any photos of where they go from the factory?
- I also just realized my truck has a cd player but the new bezel doesn't. Do I need to buy a new module now? I believe the am/fm goes through that module so its not like I can just remove it.
