New guy here, from Texas, but not new to Fords. Just picked up a 2023 F250 SuperDuty CC/LB STX, 7.3L V-8 'zilla to replace my ailing 2017 2500HD 6.0L gasser (transmission, of course.) I still have my 2009 F250 SD CC/LB XL, with the fantastic 3-valve V-10 (208K,) and I have a 2002 F150 XL SC/SB, 4.2L V-6 (178K.)

Welcome! Those are beautiful trucks you have there! Thank you for sharing and for being part of the Ford family!

Nice trucks! I sure do like the new look compared to the upside-down headlight deal they had going for a few years!

Welcome aboard!
Yea... never was a fan of the 2009 grille. About the only nice thing I can say about it is the bucktooth bumper sticking out... and being able to use it to work on the motor.
This was the day I traded my 1999 for the 2009... that 1999 was a classy truck. I miss it.

That's definitely handy!

I drive almost every new vehicle... motorcycles included... home in the rain. Don't know what it is.
FWIW, that '99 had 186K on it, and it was my first service truck. Just because it's used in daily service doesn't mean it has to be abused. I see service trucks on the road that are newer than mine, in deplorable shape, and wonder... do you not not care one wit about the biggest, most expensive 'tool' in your toolbox? Without my truck, I don't make money.

LOL the vehicle gods want you to break in your new vehicles nicely. No high-traction power tests, nice cool moist air to keep temperatures down, and less bugs on your new windshield. Seems like good luck to me.

Seriously, it looks like nothing has happened to it. I bet if the pictures were really really super high resolution I'd be able to see that the writing on the sidewalls changed.

I agree! I'm amazed by that phenomenon. Does the driver not know how to drive? Maybe it's a fleet vehicle and nobody cares? Maybe the driver that did it got fired or demoted because of it and the next driver gets to drive it with that badge of honor? In the end, if it still does the job it still does the job, damage or not, but I wouldn't want my people driving something that got treated like that nor my customers seeing my company represented like that.
Sometimes I like to think that is just had that happen, the damage was totally accidental, and it is waiting for a slot at the body shop.

That's part of my business ethic... my stuff is clean and presentable, with nothing ostentatious. I cringe when I see contractors and such pull up in front of a house with some foofed-up, jacked up 4X or something... I just shake my head.
Sure... there's accident damage, and then there is abuse.
Buddy of mine ran a tree service over in Fort Worth, and bought the guys a new Dodge CC/LB truck. They frikkin trashed that truck. He threatened to take it away from them and buy them some crappy used truck to drive. I don't think they cared either way...

Same here. I decided a long time ago that when a contractor and/or their boss shows up in a heavily customized truck, that's my que to look elsewhere. I understand showing off a little with success, but at the same time, I don't want to think that some percentage of my money goes into some contractor's steamroller tires or chrome lift kit . . . or worse that the owner is fiscally irresponsible and their customers pay the price with a poorly-managed business' results.

Sounds like keeping the vehicles in reasonably good condition needs to be a job requirement here. If they'll crapify a nice truck, they'll probably be right at home in a crappy truck. Then your buddy's tree business suffers because the crappy truck breaks down more than the crapified nice truck.
