Hello. I joined the group as I begin a restoration on my old 65 f100. It was purchased by my grandfather in the mid 70s from the original owner with around 22000 miles. My dad got it from him when I was a young child and used it as a work truck for many years building houses. It was the first vehicle I ever drove (at the age of 12) I was gifted the truck and my old 65 mustang as a graduation gift after high school. I drove the truck for a few years and then life happened and it has sat under my carport for nearly 20 years. Well, last week I decided that it was time to get to work on it. I am sure I will have many questions but for starters... here are a couple of pictures. As you can see, it's a long bed, tired old 352/3spd. I have the bed off and the rear completely apart. I have already stripped and por15 painted the rear of the frame, powder coated the rear housing, ordered new bushings, brakes, etc...
