I'M BACK!!! Miss me?
The report of my demise was highly exaggerated. After many personal issues and complications (Mostly a financially devastating divorce...) I'd like to assure everyone that i am still standing upright, still have my 56 panel, and am back to working on it. I am planning to have it back on the road this year. Fortunately I have found an enthusiastic helper/apprentice/younger guy that has been of great assistance with the truck's large leap in heading towards that goal.
Any of the old crowd still around, especially the guys who took my rust repair and bodywork workshops? I'd love to touch base and catch up, see what you've been up to, progress you've made.

Too long, missed you guys (and girls). The forum software says 2018! WOW!!! Gracie has been hibernating in the garage waiting for me to wake her up. She's been awake now for about the last year. My Buddy and I have been working on her almost every day since, and she's been getting some new jewelry. I'll be posting some new progress reports and picture soon.
Welcome back
Sometimes life kicks us in the teeth. The nice thing about these old trucks is that they'll wait for you.
I too have a rough go of things the last year which has stalled several of my projects. I'll get to them eventually....

So, 2018. I got my 55 F350 repainted in 2018. Last year I bought a 55 F600 for the Ford script bed, sold the F600, took the bed apart, salvaged the original boards, sandblasted and painted the frame, put the boards on, then decided to sell it. A collector from Texas bought it 2 weeks ago. I still have my 54.
I'm a comparative newcomer compared to you, but I do remember your long detailed responses to members like me needing help with our projects. You helped a lot of people, and it's good to see you back.
