Installing 2003 CD6 into 2003 Windstar

I'm trying to install a 2003 CD-6 into a 2003 Windstar. I have the wiring harness and properly installed it. The radio works properly except it has no bass. What are my options? Do I have any options? What do I do? Please help.

no bass from CD 6

I also suffer from a "no Bass" condition. Since my vehicle did not leave the factory with the current CD-6 player installed (dealer added it) it sounds like there is a component missing. The bass is almost non-existant any ideas??
