Hello I’m doing a axle swap here soon in my 97 f250 HD the axle has 4.10 gears but after I bought it I was told if it didn’t match my rear 4x4 wouldn’t work… my rear axle tag reads what is shown on the photo, any help is appreciated thanks

Are you also doing reverse shackle kit (RSK) with the solid axle swap? This is a good time to do it. I recollect the SAS needs 350 springs rather than 250 springs to ride decent, so you might as well go all-in with an RSK and SuperDuty springs. On my 350, the RSK and SuperDuty springs were a large improvement in ride and handling from stock solid axle configuration.
