hello from north Florida

believe it or not this is the first ford ive owned and i only wish everyone knew about this solid American truck

Looks like a good one!

Be sure that the screws for the chrome logo don't have anything that can get sucked into the carburetor on the other side of the air cleaner lid:

oh man , thats an aluminum sheet i had that i cut out , i made some 1/4 " aluminum bushings to raise the emblem slighlty , and im using stainless steel hardware re purposed off some boat parts

I'm thinking: What if those screws are held on with little nuts on the other side of the lid? . . . and what if those nuts fall off in there and get sucked into the engine?
