winterizing
My mom recently bought an 89 motorhome built on an E350 chassis. It is time to winterzie here in Jersey as it is getting colder out. It has a 460, c6 tranny. Any advise on what to do to winterize the motor so no problems arise from it sitting. It only has 63,000 miles on it, and it runs fantastic. I would like to keep it running that way. thanks for any advice you guys give me.

If its just for the winter, I would make sure the anti-freeze is in proper mix. IF you are storing it longer or want the best protection for the motor. Take the vacuum hose off of the power brake booster and put it in a bottle of motor oil while the engine is running. This will lube the top end of the motor over winter and help reduce rust inside the motor.
