ford van weight problems
I have a 1991 ford e-150 van V-8 5.8 liter (4x4 conversion). I am about to leave on a trip to south america. I am having problems with the weight load I am carrying. The back leaf springs seem to be stressed. I also have overleaf springs. I fugured that I am carrying about 1200 to 1300 pounds in gearincluding the fabricated bumper that I have added. Any suggestions on how to combat the weight (other than getting rid of it). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Supposedly they are pretty easy to install. Saw them installed on some TV truck show once. The AirLift company has been around a long time.
