Engine keeps stalling...HELP!!

My 1999 F-350 PSD has started to give me a little problem. It has died on my five or six times in the last month for no apparent reason. It will always start right back up, but its obviously a little nerve racking. I have noticed that it has always been either raining or still wet outside which may just be a coincidence. It has done it at a dead stop, and while going 55 mph down the road. HOwever, when going down the road, it only sputters and then keeps going. It doesnt actually die. Any suggestions???

Sounds like a CMP sensor. Do a search under CMP or cam position sensor. there will be a lot to read on them. They are easy to r/r, do not pay more than $100 for it. They are known to go out once and a while.
