Ford fe engine perches
Hello all I am looking for some help in finding engine perches
My plan is to use a ford f390 and c6 in a 1965 ford f250 4x4 frame and what I have read these are what I need
the part numbers areC6TZ 6029 F
C6TZ-6028-D

C6TZ-6028-D Right & C6TZ-6029-F Left .. Engine Supports / Obsolete
1966 F100 352 4WD from serial number 788,001 // 1967 F100/250 352 4WD // 1968/72 F100/250 360 4WD // 1973/76 F100/250 360 4WD except F250 Crew Cab.
1965 F100/250 352 4WD & 1966 F250 352 4WD use a completely different engine mounting system. It's similar to 1961/64 F100/250 292 2WD/4WD
1965 F100/250 4WD, 1966 F250 4WD (and 1965/66 F350) 352 bell housing is also different.
1973 was the first year that F100/250 4WD's were available with an automatic transmission.
390's were not factory installed with 4WD, but 1968/76 360/390 share the same block and heads.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has either of the C6TZ supports.

So to provide a bit more of what I am trying to do is I have a 390 and ford c6 from what I am told had been pulled from a car so they were side mounted and the original mounting of the front timing cover and side mounts on the bell housing no longer work. I am looking for a solution to mount the 390 and c6 in properly without issue.

The C6TZ supports bolt to the inner frame rails, the steel/rubber insulators bolt to the supports then to the engine block.
The trans will be a problem, because 1973 was the first year for A/T with 4WD .. The transmission support (cross member) bolts to the frame for 1973/76 F250 360 A/T 4WD
The trans steel/rubber insulator (there's only one at the center) bolts to a bracket that bolts to the support.
